bought the house in 1978 and restored it, leaving the
structure the same. In 1986 we opened the bed and
breakfast, adding some interior walls to accommodate extra
guest baths and furnishing the house with some of
the antiques belonging to our six-generation Jefferson
family. We re-decorated the house and added two
rooms to the back in 1992. Our
home is located in the historic district, two blocks from
downtown, and within walking distance of shops,
restaurants, and attractions. We hope you will enjoy
your time at Turner Inn.
