Azalea Inn

  • Built in 1873 this Stick Eastlake home is located only 7 blocks down town and is considered in the old historic district.  Having a nice garden, front porch and nice antiques with in the home, , makes this unique to the guest who stay with us.
    The minute you enter the home, you feel the warmth and glow from  the fresh lemonade, coffee or just sitting on the front porch and enjoying the quaint village with all its quite and serene personality.
     
  • Breckenridge Garden Cottages

  • Each cottage offers its own small kitchen area, sitting area, private bath, queen-sized bed, and front porch for rocking. Continental breakfast is available to assure that you have escaped the daily stress of being on a schedule and enjoy your own private solitude.
  • Captains Castle

  • The Captains Castle, also known as the Rogers-McCasland home, was so named by Captain Thomas J. Rogers, a Confederate officer and local pioneer banker. This colorful old home, furnished with many antiques of the period, has a Texas Historical Survey Medallion and is listed in the National Register of homes worthy of preservation. The Main House has three rooms available and four more located in the Carriage House and Cottage in the back overlooking the gardens and gazebo. Coffee and muffins are brought to your door and a complimentary gourmet breakfast follows.  
  • Captains Quarters

    • For that romantic getaway or special weekend, this private cottage offers a queen size bed, TV with VCR, refrigerator and microwave.  Our swimming pool is open to all of our guests.  Breakfast is brought to your room upon request.

  • The Carriage House is a charming "Prairie Style House" recently renovated offering 3 guest rooms with private baths, furnished with "wonderful antiques."
  • Charles House

  • Come enjoy a relaxing weekend in our two-story Dutch Colonial Revival home, recently restored and qualified as an historical marker. Built around the turn of the century, the Charles House is located a short walk from town.  It offers three guest rooms with private baths, two sitting areas and a wrap-around porch. Guests delight in a full country breakfast served in the large formal dining room.
  • Faded Rose

  • Enjoy the charm of a 1920's house. A swing on the wide front porch invites you to sit a spell, enjoy refreshments on arrival, a morning cup of coffee, or just relax and enjoy the "quiet". Rose theme decor includes antiques and family treasures. A dried rose is placed on the pillow for each lady guest. There are two guestrooms with private baths, TV, and ceiling fans. The piano in the living room is yours to enjoy, too. A hearty breakfast is served every morning in the dining room.
  • Falling Leaves Inn

  • Falling Leaves Inn is an Antebellum Greek Revival home, located in the Jefferson Historic District. There are four distinct, antique filled rooms, each with a private bath, king-size bed and cable TV.  Enjoy the cathedral ceilings, gas chandelier, library, and afternoon refreshments. Indulge in the gourmet breakfast, relax in a rocking chair on the screened-in porch and stroll though the grounds, under hundred year old pecan trees.  
  • Governor's House

  • Built in 1870, for Charles A. Culberson, 20th Governor of Texas, the classic Greek Revival style home has glorious accommodations. Common areas include a Victorian parlor, entry halls and formal dining room. Guest rooms are detailed with antiques and elegant period furnishings, queen size beds, private baths, central heat and air with their own private sitting area to read or relax. Bridal suite available.
  • Guest House

  • Two bedroom, antique filled cottage with one private bath, living room, kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. Breakfast off the property included in rate. Great for two couples or family. 
  • House of the Seasons

  • Built in 1872, this is a fine example of the transition period between the Greek Revival and Victorian styles of architecture. The most interesting interior feature of the house is the dome containing beautiful frescoes. The carriage house has been turned into four spacious suites, the Epperson, Sam Houston, Lady Bird and Presidential. All suites have private entrances, private baths with showers, whirlpool tubs, color cable TV, individual heating and cooling systems, ceiling fans, antique furnishings and family heirlooms. Guests receive a complimentary tour of the House of the Seasons, full breakfast, and afternoon tea and lemonade.

  • Peace House

    • We bought the house in 1978 and restored it, leaving the structure the same.  In 1986 we opened the bed and breakfast, adding some interior walls to accommodate extra guest baths and furnishing  the house with some of the antiques belonging to our six-generation Jefferson family.  We re-decorated the house and added two rooms to the back in 1992.  Our home is located in the historic district, two blocks from downtown, and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and attractions.  We hope you will enjoy your time at Turner Inn.

  • The Steamboat Inn is in the Greek Revival style, which was popular during Jefferson's steamboat heyday. Relax on three shaded porches with wicker furniture or enjoy one of our four spacious rooms each with a fireplace, private bath including claw-footed tub with shower and a TV. The rooms are named after steamboats that docked in Jefferson's port are Mittie Stephens-king bed, Starlight-king bed, Runaway-queen bed and Golden Era-twin beds.
